Weiss Construction Group began with a simple mission: to build things the right way, with people you trust. Founded over two decades ago, our company has grown from a small operation into a respected name in commercial and industrial construction all while keeping the same core values we started with. We still show up, work hard, and deliver on our word...because we believe relationships matter just as much as results.

Russell Weissenhofer

President

Russell Weissenhofer is President of Weiss Construction Group. He leads the operations and strategic direction of the Company, offering a comprehensive range of services in commercial construction.

As President, he has positioned Weiss Construction Group as a market leader in commercial and industrial construction in Chicago Metropolitan Area and has expanded operations by opening an office in South Florida.

He has strategically established Weiss Construction Group in the car wash and gas station markets, focusing on helping Owner’s with planning their construction projects.

Russell enjoys spending time with his grandkids and his hobbies are working out, biking and boating.

Mitch Weissenhofer

Lead Estimator

Originally envisioning a completely different career path, Mitch made a pivotal decision to shift gears in order to support his family—and that’s when he discovered a passion for construction. Since entering the industry in 2021, he has gained hands-on experience in commercial restoration and worked on multiple construction sites, quickly developing a deep appreciation for the process of transforming ideas into tangible structures.

Motivated by a longstanding goal to earn his General Contractor license, Mitch saw the opportunity to join the family business as the perfect next step. He and his wife made the move from Arizona back to Illinois to continue the legacy of Weiss Construction Group. His focus is on contributing to the company’s growth and helping expand into new areas of the construction industry.

Outside of work, Mitch enjoys staying active through golf, softball, and strength training. Most importantly, he values spending quality time with his wife and kids, always looking for new ways to create lasting memories together.

Troy Weissenhofer

Project Manager

Troy Weissenhofer serves as the Project Manager at Weiss Construction Group, bringing dedication and focus to every phase of the build process. Since joining the company in 2022, Troy has overseen numerous projects, ensuring they run smoothly, stay on schedule, and meet the high standards Weiss is known for.

With a strong commitment to communication and coordination, Troy plays a key role in delivering successful outcomes for clients and teams alike—and looks forward to managing many more projects in the future.

Outside of work, Troy enjoys spending time with his two sons, cooking, hitting the gym, and making the most of family time through active, meaningful moments together.

Kelsey Teuntor

Accounts Manager

Kelsey Teuntor joined Weiss Construction Group in 2024, fulfilling a long-time goal of becoming part of the family business. She serves in a dual role handling accounts payable and accounts receivable, bringing structure and clarity to the financial side of each project.

Prior to joining the company, Kelsey worked as a surgical technician at an ambulatory surgery center, where she also prepared and managed patient documentation. Her background in high-detail environments, along with her strong organizational skills, has made her a valuable asset in keeping projects and processes running smoothly behind the scenes.

Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends—whether relaxing or making new memories together.
